Other companies consider this kind of information confidential, or they consider the generation of these messages helpful to ever-probing spammers who are looking for "live" addresses.

To disable automatic replies to the Internet, follow these steps:

1. From the Exchange System Manager, open Global Settings, and select Internet Message Formats.
2. In the right pane, right-click the domain name, and select Properties.
3. On the Advanced tab, deselect the Allow Automatic Replies check box, and click OK.

This process disables automatic replies to the Internet for the selected domain.
